After being closed since March 16 due to COVID-19, Wild Adventures theme park in Valdosta, Ga. is set to reopen on June 22.
Strict guidelines and safety measures have been put in place to protect all of the park goers and employees during this unprecedented time. All of the guidelines are based on the guidance of health officials, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The new guidelines to keep visitors safe at the park include: a daily capacity limit, requirement of a face mask or face covering for all visitors over the age of three, temperature screenings prior to entry, enforced physical distancing and the increase of sanitation measures.
To ensure the daily capacity limit will be followed, advanced online reservations are required for both season passholders and daily ticket guests. Hand sanitizing stations will also be placed throughout the park for additional sanitation and high-touch areas will be cleaned frequently.
