Feb. 25, 1966 Bonnie Hamilton, one of the top four finalists in the recent Miss Jeanie contest at Stephen Foster Memorial. First Baptist Church deacons’ training course was held for deacons and their families Wednesday night with scriptural basis for election, duties and responsibilities of the officers, led by the Rev. Thad Entzminger of Greenville Baptist Church. Committee on training of deacons is composed of W.M.B. Clark, H.E. McArthur and W.B. Selman, who also directed the service.
