Way Back When

Jan. 28, 1965 Mrs. J.C. Burnette and Mrs. J.A. Davis won first and second places in the horticulture division of Camellia show with their blooms. Sponsored by the Boosters Club, the annual football banquet was held in the cafetorium Thursday night, when trophies, blankets and awards were given to the Red Devils. Ronnie Ragans won three trophies for most valuable player of the team, best defensive back and most outstanding back. Gene Guess was given outstanding lineman and best blockers awards
