Jan. 14, 1966 Judge R. H. Rowe announced this week he would not be a candidate to succeed himself in the upcoming spring primaries. The judge had a long and eventful career in the county and state. He served for several years as Mayor of Madison, was State Representative, and later State Senator for several terms.
