Dec. 10, 1965 Little Sheryl Ann Barnes was honored on her fourth birthday, at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. D.W. Barnes, with a birthday turkey dinner. The pretty white birthday cake was topped with four candles and served after dinner. Sheryl received many nice gifts. The Pinetta FFA Chapter won $30 Thursday night, Dec. 2, for finishing second in the Fire Prevention Contest, sponsored by the Madison County Forestry Service.
