1965 Governor Haydon Burns mails checks totaling $71.335 from the Haydon Burns Scholarship Foundation to 311 student recipients. The checks represent half the scholarship grant to each student, with the remaining half to be sent as soon as the student completes a semester’s work and enrolls for a second semester.
