A Women’s Pregnancy Center’s (AWPC) annual Walk for Life will take place in the Down Home Days Parade on Saturday. April 22. Participants may walk, bike or ride to raise money for AWPC. The theme for the parade is “Building our Future.” You are invited to grab a friend and join the march, showing our community that AWPC is building our future where the future starts.
To sign up, fill out a walk packet and collect sponsors, then turn in your packet at the parade. Line up will be at the entrance of North Florida College, right behind O’Neal’s Country Buffet. The AWPC start location will be marked with red balloons, and walk packets are available from your church or at AWPC, located at 345 NW Marion St., in Madison. Each participant will receive a free gift, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Plan on arriving between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.
All support from the walk will assist in providing infant clothing, supplies, educational classes and much more for families facing crisis pregnancies.
