With the upcoming General Election approaching on Tuesday, Nov. 8, Madison County voters are reminded that the early voting period is also quickly approaching, as is the deadline for voter registration. Those wishing to vote who have not yet registered to vote in Madison County have until Tuesday, Oct. 11, to do so.
Early voting for the General Election begins on Saturday, Oct. 29, and will continue through Saturday, Nov. 5. Voters are reminded that, during early voting, voters may vote at any voting location. On Election Day, voters must vote at their assigned voting location. The Madison County locations for early voting are:
• The Supervisor of Elections Office at 239 SW Pinckney St., in Madison;
• The Greenville American Legion at 133 SW Broad St., in Greenville;
• The Pinetta Volunteer Fire Department at 509 NE Persimmon Dr., in Pinetta;
• Lee City Hall at 286 NE County Road 255, in Lee.
The times for early voting are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The hours on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8, will be from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
