There are many interesting events upcoming at your local library. Madison Public Library, located at 378 College Loop, in Madison, holds various workshops, educational and story-time events for the public to enjoy. The Madison Public Library is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, they are open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. They are closed on Sunday.
Lee Public Library, located at 7783 U.S. 90, in Lee, offers many fun events for the public to enjoy. The Lee Public Library is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. They are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Tuesday June 17
The Madison Public Library will host Fiber Art with Tracey Fletcher as a part of the Suwannee River Regional Library summer reading program: Art is Everywhere from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Monday June 23
From 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., Lee Public Library will host Hand-bells with Tracey Fletcher during the Suwannee River Regional Library summer reading program: Art is Everywhere.
Tuesday June 24
Anna Stange will host Masks and Music from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. as a part of the Suwannee River Regional Library summer reading program: Art is Everywhere.
P. Lynne Hutchins will be impersonating a character from her book “Letters Unposted,” from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Lee Public Library. Hutchins will tell a story of loss and life in the 19th century by introducing the library to Mary, a character in her book. For more information, please visit plynnehutchins.com.

Art in the Garden with Anna Stange will be held at the Lee Public Library from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. as a part of the Suwannee River Regional Library summer reading program: Art is Everywhere.
Tuesday July 1
Tracey Fletcher will visit the Madison Public Library with handbells during the Suwannee River Regional Library summer reading program: Art is Everywhere from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday July 8
The Madison Public Library will host Amy Bauer, with the Florida State Parks, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. as a part of the Suwannee River Regional Library summer reading program: Art is Everywhere.
Tuesday July 15
From 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. the Madison County Fire Department will visit the Madison Public Library during the Suwannee River Regional Library summer reading program: Art is Everywhere.
Every Tuesday
After Tuesday, June 10, at 2 p.m. from 3:30 p.m. Lego club will be held for children six years and older. If anyone has any Legos they want to donate to the club, they can visit the Lee Public Library with any donations.
The Madison Public Library will host Game Day, featuring the Nintendo Switch from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. They will offer classic board games, puzzles and LEGOs. This event is for all ages.
Every Wednesday
A representative from the Department of Children and Families (DCF) will be at the Madison Public Library from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The representative will be able to help anyone apply for services and answer any questions.
Every Thursday
From 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Madison Public Library will host Preschool Story-time, which will include stories, songs, puppets, crafts and much more.
Starting on Wednesday, June 4, the Lee Public Library will hold Family Movie Night from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
From 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Madison Public Library there will be an Artisan Corner/Crafts (Fun Day) event held. Additional programs and guests may be presented.
Every Friday
Friday’s starting Friday, June 6, there will be Fiber Art with Tracey Fletcher at the Lee Public Library.
Every Monday through Saturday
There is a Seed Lending Library at the Madison Public Library. It is open during normal library hours and has various seasonal seeds available for checkout.
