Un-bee-lievable spelling showdown: Jabaris Thornton, Jr. heads to Regionals

On Monday, Feb. 2, the Madison County District Spelling Bee took place at the Madison County Central School (MCCS), where the best of the best-spellers took the spotlight at 9 a.m.
First up was the Fourth Grade Spelling Bee, which consisted of: Sofia Crumity, from Madison Creative Arts Academy (MCAA); Nova Herring, MCAA; Deo’Jonay Jackson, MCCS; Peyton Miller, MCCS and Harrison Vanduyne, MCCS. The competition went on for 59 rounds before a winner
