On Thursday, June 28, two traffic crashes were reported in the city of Madison. According to the Madison Police Department, the first wreck occurred at approximately 8 a.m. and involved a grey Chevy pickup truck striking a white Nissan while attempting to park. Pat O'Brian was the driver of the grey Chevy, and was determined to be at fault. Danielle Stephens was the driver of the parked white Nissan. No injuries were reported and both drivers were from Madison.
At approximately 12 p.m., the same day, there was another traffic crash reported. Rachel Abbott, of Lee, was driving a white Honda when attempting to make a turn onto Washington Street, after traveling west on Base Street. Keosha Cherry, of Madison, was driving a grey Toyota and attempting to turn right onto Washington Street after traveling east bound on Base Street. According to the report, Abbott failed to yield while Cherry turned onto Washington and collided with the front driver side of Cherry's vehicle. Abbott was determined to be at fault. There were two additional passengers in Cherry's car, but no injuries were reported.
