In honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day, the members of the Nu Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Madison County Board of County Commissioners worked together to plant trees at the Lee Fire Station.
“We extend our sincere thanks to the Nu Omega Omega Chapter for hosting such a meaningful event that brings our community together while promoting environmental stewardship,” said a Madison County spokesperson. “Your commitment to enhancing our environment and investing in a greener future is truly appreciated.”
This tree planting event is just one of many tree planting events undertaken by the sorority as part of their ongoing community service projects aimed at supporting environmental efforts.
