Town of Greenville seeking restitution from former Town Manager

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com   Before the meeting of the Greenville Town Council adjourned on Monday, June 15, Town Attorney John Reid spoke to the council members about the investigation of former Town Manager Lee Jones, conducted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Reid said that although the FDLE did not consider there to be enough hard evidence to seek criminal charges against Jones, there was ample evidence for the town to file ethics charges through
