Theola Hampton Gallon

Theola Hampton Gallon, 77, of Greenville, Fla., passed at home on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024.  Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 7, at New Hope P.B. Church, in Sirmans, with Interment in Wigginsville Community Cemetery.  Viewing and visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 6, at Shiloh M.B. Church, in Greenville.  Mrs. Gallon was a lifelong resident of Madison County, a member of New Hope and a superb cook.  She was well-known for her cake-baking talents.  Survivors include her loving daughter, Wanda Gallon; caring sons: David (Lisa), Mickey (Voncelia) and Kenneth (Michelle) Gallon; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; caregivers, Lakosnia (Auntra) Lamar and Tonyell Roberson; sisters: Pearl Sales, Helen Cuyler and Deloris (Mathis) Groover; godchildren: Resheba, Latorya and Katina; special friend, Irene Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Theola was predeceased by her parents, Theodore, Sr. and Roberta Johnson Hampton; brothers: Jimmy, Theodore, Henry, Willie, Melvin and James and sisters, Barbara and Classie.
