The Game of Life: College Edition – Stay strong, soldier

Today I would like to discuss the quote, “God gives his toughest challenges to his strongest soldiers.” This is always something that I live by and I think that a lot of people live by it in Madison, especially. Recently, I have sustained an injury during a game which resulted in a broken hand, and I’m now in a cast. I am having a hard time dealing with this challenge, but I know that I just have to trust in God and understand that I’m going through this challenge for a reason. It is my right hand, so I’m going to have to learn to do things a little bit differently throughout my everyday life for the next six weeks. As I continue through this challenge, I will have to lean on others and maintain faith. Being a strong soldier does not come easy, but God puts these things in our lives for a reason. Whatever challenges you’re facing in your life, remember that the reason may not always be clear. However, God always has our best interest at heart, and there will always be something that we can learn. Keep your head up, soldier: with God on our side, we can get through anything.
