The Game of Life: College Edition No rainbows without rain

Recently, my parents celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary! That’s a big milestone and I’m so thankful to be a part of such an amazing family. With that being said, nothing is ever perfect. Even in everyday relationships, there will be fights and disagreements. But, the focus shouldn’t be on the scuffles that happen every so often. It should be on the lessons learned from them and what’s learned about the other person in the process. My parents have been an amazing example of how to work through hard times, and I am beyond proud of them. What I have taken from watching their relationship is there are no rainbows without rain, but even then, rain doesn’t happen very often. Surround yourself with people who are looking for the rainbows after the storm instead of those who constantly bring the storm. Those people will brighten up your life a lot more!
