The Game of Life: College Edition – Almost there

Happy Friday everyone! We are so close to Thanksgiving and I don’t know about y’all, but I am so excited to come home and spend some time with my family (and eat some yummy food). The last few weeks have been filled to the brim with school, ball and life in general, so I am just pushing through until break. In times of adversity or simply when I seem to be lacking motivation, I use old, trusty Google to look up some Bible verses that are specific to my situation. Lately, I have been reminded of John 16:33, which reads, “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Jesus said this to His disciples after telling them how He would be crucified and how there may be terrible things coming their way. But, believers will ultimately be able to enjoy the gift of peace, knowing that Jesus has overcome the world. I don’t know about you, but that peace is something that brings me great comfort, and gets me through trying times, such as the last couple of weeks. Keep this peace in mind as you push through the coming days until we are reunited with our families. We are almost there!
