The 2026 North Florida Livestock Show and Sale retuned to Madison from Monday, Feb.16 through Thursday, Feb. 19, bringing together local youth for one of the area’s most anticipated agricultural traditions. Held at the Madison County Extension Arena, the event shows the hard work and dedication of exhibitors involved in livestock projects through 4-H and the National FFA Organization.
The four-day event included swine and cattle shows, a livestock judging contest, awards presentations and a buyers’ supper, followed by the final sale on Thursday, Feb. 19. The show is supported in part by the University of Florida and its extension services, the University of Florida IFAS Extension, which provides guidance and oversight for rules and regulations.
In the Swine Show, Cutter McCormick, with Branford 4-H, won Grand Champion, with Lexie Dasher, with Branford FFA, as Reserve Champion.
In the Home Grown Heifer division, Sarah Beth Rutherford was awarded Grand Champion, with Peyton McCook as Reserve Champion.
Home Grown Feeder Steer awards went to Berkleigh Greiner as Grand Champion and Abby Hunter as Reserve Champion.
In the Home Grown Fat Steer division, Levi Starling earned Grand Champion honors. Kloie Page was named Reserve Champion.
In the Heifer division, Levi Starling captured Grand Champion, with Rilee Floyd earning Reserve Champion. Feeder Steer Grand Champion went to Kenly Melland, while Dallas Deadwyler earned Reserve Champion.
Fat Steer honors were awarded to Sarah Beth Rutherford as Grand Champion, with Rilee Floyd as Reserve Champion.
