It is difficult to describe just how much your gestures of support in our time of need have meant to us. Matthew 5:4 says, “Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted.” This verse is an earthly reminder that people care for us and that we are not alone in our grief. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your condolences through resolutions, calls, cards, flowers, gifts of love, food, hugs, kisses and particularly your prayers. It is only the help of the wonderful people in our lives that is helping us get through this difficult time and encourages us to keep moving forward. The legacy of Moderator (Emeritus) Dr. James Bobby Duval will forever be in the hearts of the community. Pastor Duval served 46 years as pastor of Shiloh M.B. Church, in Greenville, Fla. I ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers as we navigate through this new normal.
