It is no secret that this world we live in can get stressful. For some, the stress comes and goes, but every now and again, one may find themselves in a time of unrelenting stressors, and balancing that with the demands of everyday life can take a toll on one's mental health. Over time, this can lead individuals to self-soothe in ways that are detrimental to their wellbeing and damaging to their relationships. May is Mental Health Awareness Month
