St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting their Seventh Annual Beast Feast on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 6 p.m. This year’s event will be held at a new location, the King Mill Cabin – Event Pavilion, in Madison. The evening will be filled with the best wild game supper, free giveaways, an art exhibition and a chance to enter raffles. Admission is free. The Beast Feast will be an exciting evening of fun for the whole family.
Everyone is welcome to bring their favorite wild game dish to share and to wear your favorite camo gear. Throughout the evening, there will be dozens of items given away, including hunting and fishing gear. Guests will also be able to participate in an art Exhibition. A silent auction will be held for the art pieces, with proceeds benefitting the church’s building fund program. Anyone wishing to enter the art exhibition may do so by calling Jessica Ratliff at (850) 253-5242 to register.
This year’s guest speaker is Patrick Martin. Martin grew up in the woods and on the water and loves to hunt and fish. He is also a licensed pilot, and he feel that one of his greatest joys is flying airplanes. He is a licensed pilot and a graduate of the University of North Florida and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Martin is a gifted communicator who has a passion to see the world respond to the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
The event will be held at the King Mill Cabin – Event Pavilion, located at 288 NW Whispering Pines Loop, in Madison. There will be plenty of seating and heaters will be provided if needed.
