Young participants across the community will have the opportunity to showcase their patriotism at the upcoming Spirit of Patriotism Pageant, set for Saturday, May 2.
Sponsored by American Legion Post 422, the pageant is open to boys and girls from birth through 22 years old, offering a fun and inclusive event fo families throughout the area.
Contestants are encouraged to dress in patriotic attire of red, white and blue colors, highlighting their creativity and love for the country while taking the stage. The American Legion says the event is meant to promote confidence, community involvement and appreciation for American values.
Participants will compete for a variety of awards, including crowns, sashes, medals and trophies, making it an exciting experience for all age groups.
