With the election for Madison’s City Commission coming up, the list of those qualifying for inclusion on the ballot has been set. Registered voters in the City of Madison will vote for the commissioner representing their district.
In the District One race, Sharon James Postell will face incumbent Voncyle Wilson. In District Two, Kathy Brooks is challenging J.P. Moore. There is only one candidate in the District Three race, Terry Martin. In District Four, Rene Alexander will face incumbent James Stanley. In District Five, incumbent Judy Townsend will face challenger Craig Anderson.
The election is set to take place on Tuesday, March 10. The office of the Madison County Supervisor of Elections, located at 239 SW Pinckney St., in Madison will be the sole polling place for the city election.
