Several of the Cowboys from the Madison County High School (MCHS) varsity baseball team have earned post-season honors by the Tallahassee Democrat. A total of seven Cowboys appear on this past season’s list.
First Team:
•Kannon Plain - .474 batting average, 24 RBIs, five home runs, 1.24 ERA on the mound, seven strikeouts
Second Team:
•Eli Underhill - .311 batting average, 23 RBIs, three homers
• Aiden Richie - .350 batting average, 15 RBIs
Honorable Mention:
• Micah Newman - .367 batting average, 16 RBIs
• Dalton McNutt - .306 batting average, 18 RBIs, 3.26 ERA pitching, 21 strikeouts thrown
• Thad Lawson - 2.94 ERA, 73 strikeouts thrown
• Mar’Kevian Stephens - 3.03 ERA, 40 strikeouts
“I’m excited for all our guys that were selected for the All-Big Bend teams,” said MCHS Head Baseball Coach Jason Fletcher. “They are great ball players and high character young men. There is great baseball in the big bend area, so to have seven young men selected is a huge accomplishment for them and a testament to their hard work. I’m very proud of them and they are all deserving of the honor.”
The Cowboys finished the 2025 baseball season with a 13-12 record.
