Rotarians hear about fast missiles

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com During the regular lunch meeting of the Madison Rotary Club on Wednesday, June 18, the Rotarians heard an interesting program presented by Club President Ted Brooks. The program was a video presentation, giving the history and some of the current uses of supersonic and hypersonic missiles by the U.S. military. The term “supersonic” refers to objects flying at speeds up to five times the speed of sound. The speed of sound is 767 miles per hour. T
