Robbery results in five year prison sentence

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com On Monday, Jan. 8, John Jermaine Jackson, Jr. had his day in court before the Hon. Wesley R. Douglas, in the Madison County Courthouse. Jackson had been charged on one count of robbery with a deadly weapon, and one charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, stemming from an incident in August of 2023.  According to the Madison Police Department (MPD) arrest affidavit, on Saturday, Aug. 5, at approximately 6:50 a.m., an MPD officer was di
