The deadline to register for Pickett Lake Church Camp, a Bible’s Blast from the Past, has been extended to Wednesday, June 22. Pickett Lake is a camp for children who have completed second through sixth grade and is put on by the Middle Florida Baptist Association. Children will be fed breakfast, lunch and dinner and will sleep in chaperoned cabins. Held from July 11 to July 14, this overnight camp allows your children to be immersed in Bible study and worship, participate in games and activities, be mentored by God-fearing staff and make life-long friends. A family night will be held on Thursday, July 14 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The cost of this camp will be $100 per camper. To get registration and medical forms for your child, stop by the Middle Florida Baptist Association at 349 Captain Brown Road, in Madison, or call (850) 973-8607. The Middle Florida Baptist Association office hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. In order for your child to attend Pickett Lake Church Camp, all forms must be filled out and submitted with the proper notarization no later than June 22.
