The congregation of Pineland Missionary Baptist Church invites all Madison County school personnel to join them for a special service on Sunday, Aug. 24, beginning at 10 a.m. The church plans to introduce attending staff members to everyone, pray for them and encourage them, as they pledge their support throughout the coming school year. Staff members will be given gifts and enjoy refreshments during the event. Joyce Taylor, who helped organize the service, is excited about helping teachers and staff get off to a good start. “We just want to show some love,” said Taylor. Pineland Missionary Baptist Church is located at 205 SE Old County Camp Rd., in Madison.
