I don’t know how many of you watched the Charlie Kirk Memorial last week at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., but I’m certain many of you did. About 100,000 were there and I’ve heard estimates as high as 100 million tuned in for the 5+ hour program. On an NFL Sunday weekend, many of us were captured by the memorial and ignored football.
I’ve been told that Turning Point USA had only six days to prepare for this huge event and they pulled it off. Hats off to those young people who work in that incredible organization. The president and his entire cabinet were there. The speakers and performers were amazing. There were some powerful preachers who delivered wonderful tributes to Charlie Kirk. Truly this was a revival. My heart was captured, and I didn’t want to turn away. Jesus Christ was continually invoked and praised.
