Joe Boyles Guest Columnist I retired from the Air Force in 1997, and we moved to Madison County to establish Trinity Farm. One of my principal motivations was to take over responsibility for managing Boyles Tree Farm (BTF). My late father Eugene had consolidated his timberland into BTF in 1986, five years before his death, but our roots can be traced to 1942 when he purchased a 365-acre farm southeast of Live Oak. When I was just a toddler, he planted his first stand of slash pines on what we
