Monticello man sentenced

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com During felony court proceedings on Tuesday, Nov. 18, Jimmy Moore, 48, of Monticello, appeared in the Madison County Courthouse for sentencing. The case dates back to August of 2008, in which Moore was arrested and charged with murder in the second degree and home invasion robbery. Moore was found guilty on both charges by a jury on July 1, 2010. The Hon. Melissa Olin sentenced Moore to 30 years in the custody of the Florida Department of Corrections. Moor
