I have always had a heart for community service, dedicating nearly my entire adult life to serving the citizens of Madison County. With my experience and knowledge of Madison County government operations, I know I can make a meaningful difference for our students and our community.
I am married to Melissa (Doyle) Maurice. Raised in Madison County, I attended local public schools before high school where I attended New Testament Christian School. I later graduated from the North Florida Junior College Law Enforcement Academy and began my career in Madison County law enforcement. After 31 years of dedicated public service, I retired from full-time law enforcement in 2024.
Throughout my 31-year career, I held multiple positions that required strict budgeting, scheduling, and staffing skills to maintain smooth, constant operations. I collaborated with numerous government agencies and private businesses nationwide to streamline communication and better serve the public. Today, I own and operate a multidimensional business that requires nationwide sales, low-cost product sourcing, and complex product logistics. Additionally, I am a past member of the Madison County School Board Facilities Committee and a current member of the Madison County Tourist Development Council (TDC).
I firmly believe all branches of government need strong fiscal oversight so you know your tax dollars are being put to good, proper use. If elected, I will ensure school funds are used effectively. Any inefficient spending must be reviewed and reallocated to maximize productivity for both our students and you, the taxpayer.
The future of our beautiful county lies in the hands of our students, who will grow into our future community leaders and business owners. Without a strong school system to provide a solid foundation, Madison County's future is dim. The Madison County School System needs strong leaders who put students first, while ensuring our teachers are equipped with the proper tools and training to succeed.
If elected, I will be a strong leader who puts students first. I will do everything in my power to secure the future of our students, our teachers, and Madison County as a whole.
