MCSO issues scam alert targeting veterans and families

Leah Androski reporter@greenepublishing.com The Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) recently posted on its Facebook page about another scam that has been circulating through Madison. The scammer places a call and then identifies themself an employee with the VA Disability Services.  The number calling may be a Ridge Crest, Calif. number. The number given to MCSO was (760) 463-0356, however, MCSO warns people that they might use different numbers as well. During the call, the scamm
