On Saturday, July 8, Sheriff David Harper and the Madison County Sheriff's Office held another Teen Driver Challenge which was a successful adventure. Several participants were included in classroom instruction regarding driving skills and the importance of safety on the road, followed by maintenance lessons. The teens were then involved in a challenging course in which they drove and practiced skills on the road with an instructor. Each participant received a certificate of completion presented by Sgt. Joey Knight. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office will be holding another Teen Driver Challenge in the near future, if you have any questions on applications, please contact Capt. Jarrod Lauth.
