MCSO Animal Services Division honored by Best Friend’s Animal Society

Madison County Sheriff’s Office Contributor Sheriff David Harper and our Animal Services Division is honored to be recognized, for the third year in a row, by the Best Friend’s Animal Society by receiving the no-kill recognition for saving more than 90 percent of the dogs and cats in our care in the calendar year 2025. Best Friend’s Animal Society, a leading national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending the killing of dogs and cats in American shelters, recognizes this incred
