Tryouts for the 2026-27 Madison County High School (MCHS) cheerleading squads are set to take place Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, with no tryout practice on Wednesday, April 22. The tryouts will take place from 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., in the MCHS gymnasium.
There will be a mandatory pre-tryout meeting on Wednesday, April 8, at 3:15 p.m., in the MCHS gymnasium. You must attend this meeting in order to be able to try out for the squad. Any exception to this must be approved by Cheerleader Coach Ruth Ann Latner before the meeting. You must also have a current physical on file before you may participate in the tryouts.
