Those student athletes interested in playing on the Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowboys or Cowgirls basketball teams are reminded that tryouts are approaching for the teams. Tryouts will take place from Monday, Oct. 26, through Wednesday, Oct. 28. Girls’ tryouts will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Boys’ tryouts will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. For those boys playing football, additional tryouts will be held for the football players who are interested in also playing basketball. Tryouts will take place in the MCHS Gymnasium.
A current physical is required, as well as at least a 2.0 grade point average. Physical forms are available in the MCHS front office.
