On Tuesday, Feb. 21, the Madison Creative Arts Academy (MCAA) Panthers baseball team faced crosstown foe, the Madison County Central School Broncos. Although the Panthers played hard, they came up short with a final score of 13-3.
The Panthers kept the game close through the first four innings. The score was a close 4-3 in favor of the Broncos at the bottom of the fifth inning when the Panthers gave up nine runs.
Emery Wilkerson led the Panthers in hitting with two hits and one RBI. Fisher Pike had one hit and one RBI for the Panthers. Parker Copeland also had a base hit for the Panthers. Gavin Bass pitched three innings for the Panthers with an impressive 66 percent strike percentage. Bass recorded two strike-outs.
