On Monday, Oct. 12, the folks of Madison’s Masonic Lodge No. 11 celebrated Jim Stanley Night. Stanley has served as a member of the lodge for almost 58 years and has mentored many new brothers into the lodge.
Approximately 45 people attended the annual event, which Richard Terry began about 20 years ago. An added treat to this year’s celebration was a special presentation to Jim and Sandra Stanley from Pine Tree Quilters. The couple was honored to receive a beautiful quilt.
Besides mentoring, Stanley has served as secretary of both Lodge No.11 and the Madison Shrine Club for over 46 years. He is honored to know that Jim Stanley Night will be observed perpetually, keeping his memory alive for generations to come.
