Over 250 grams of marijuana was recovered in a drug bust after the Madison County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) S.W.A.T. team and Drug Task Force (DTF) investigators entered a Madison home on Friday, March 6.
As reported by MCSO's Maj. David Harper, the MCSO S.W.A.T. Team executed a narcotics search warrant at the home of Jimmy Lee Bailey Jr., located at 644 SW Boundary St., in Madison. The warrant was obtained as a result of a covert investigation by MCSO's DTF regarding the possession and sale of illegal narcotics.
During the search, approximately 263 grams of marijuana was recovered, along with currency. Three firearms and numerous drug paraphernalia items, used to package and sale marijuana, was also found during the search.
MCSO arrested 34-year-old Bailey Jr., also known as "Bam," on charges of possession with intent/sell within 1,000 feet of a church, use/display/possession of a weapon during a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia/equipment.
