An arrest has been made in the fatal crash that took the lives of 22-year-old Logan Paige Shelley of Pinetta, Fl. and 23-year-old Kyle Ryan Naville of Valdosta, Ga. on Feb. 25, 2015 in Lowndes County, Ga. According to Georgia State Patrol’s investigation, Jeremy Mack Carter, 35, of Valdosta, Ga. was driving a Ford F-150 traveling southbound, in the northbound lane of Old Clyattville Road attempting to pass a school bus. Carter struck the Ford Mustang driven by Shelley, which was traveling northbound on Old Clyattville Road. Both Shelley and Naville were pronounced deceased on scene. Toxicology reports from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation showed Carter had a blood alcohol concentration of .187 grams of alcohol at the time of the crash. Carter was arrested on Friday, October 23 at a residence in Hamilton County, Fl. He has been charged with two counts of felony first-degree vehicular homicide, reckless driving, driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license (second offense), improper passing and open container. Carter is currently being held at the Lowndes County Jail.
