Each year the Madison Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) holds its Third Grade Poster Contest in conjunction with the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) as part of its Educational Outreach Program teaching students about conservation of our natural resources. This year’s Conservation Poster Contest Theme is “Soil. Where it all Begins.”

Congratulations to Kenley King, who placed first in the Local 2026 Madison Soil and Water Conservation District’s Third Grade Poster Contest, qualifying her for the State Level Poster Contest where she placed second in the State of Florida. King attends Madison Creative Arts Academy (MCAA) and thank you to King’s teacher, Jill Page for her hard work and dedication to her students.
