The Madison Rotary Club will once again be holding their annual Prime Rib Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 26. The dinners feature a lower price this year, but the great tasting and generous portions of prime rib and sides will remain the same. The price for the dinners will be $25 each and will include prime rib and baked potato, along with salad, a roll, desert and a beverage. The event will take place at the Villa Maria Social Hall of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, located on Orange Ave., across from Beggs Funeral Home, in Madison. Dine in and take out will be available.
The Prime Rib Dinner is the club’s biggest fundraising project each year, with proceeds helping fund the many community service projects undertaken by the club throughout the year. These projects have included disaster relief, providing books to local elementary schools, building accessibility ramps for individuals and much more. The local Rotary Club also helps the efforts of the Rotary Foundation and Rotary International. The Rotary Foundation is one of the nation’s most respected charitable organizations, helping to eradicate polio around the world, provide clean drinking water, educational and anti-bullying programs for children and much more. For more information on Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation, please visit www.rotary.org.
The Madison Rotary Club meets each Wednesday, at 12 p.m., at the Villa Maria Social Hall of the St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church.
Tickets are available from any Rotary Club member. Tickets may also be purchased and picked up at the office of Greene Publishing, Inc., located at 1695 South State Rd. 53, in Madison.
