Madison Garden Club has program on sunflowers

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com During the regular monthly meeting of the Madison Garden Club on Thursday, April 2, the members heard a program from Tyler Platt, of Deep Roots Meats. Platt gave an informative program on sunflowers. The program included information on the benefits of growing sunflowers which include helping to break up hard soil, as well as providing nutritious seeds for animals and humans alike. The bright flowers also help provide nectar for various pollinators. Platt
