Madison County students show improvement

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com   During a workshop meeting of the Madison County District School Board on Tuesday, Dec. 16, the board heard a report from Barbara Thomas, Coordinator of Assessment and Accountability. Thomas reported that on many levels, after testing 88 percent of the students, preliminary data shows that many Madison County students have shown improvements. Thomas stated the third grade English Language Arts “is trending in the right direction.” The num
