Madison County funding requests survive the veto pen

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com   When Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Florida’s budget into law on Monday, June 29, close to 18 pages of items were cut from the proposed budget. Significant to Madison County was the number of items that were not among those cut by way of the Governor’s veto pen. Madison County is set to be the recipient of $11,170,000 in funding from Tallahassee. Items surviving and included in the budget included $2 million for the construction of a l
