On Monday, Aug. 22, around 12:31 p.m., a log truck driven by Robert Baynard, 69, of Madison, rolled over on Lovett Rd., a small dirt road off of Asheville Hwy, which runs near the border of the Madison and Jefferson Counties.
Florida Highway Patrol speculates that due to the wear of the dirt road, Baynard lost control of his commercial truck. After getting too close to the curb, Baynard's truck began to tilt and rolled over onto its side.
Baynard, who suffered minor injuries as a result of his truck's roll over, was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Along with the Florida Highway Patrol, first responding units from Madison County and Jefferson County were both on scene to provide assistance.
