Local youth support historic preservation

Participants in the local Boyz to Kings and Girlz to Queens program recently presented a $500 donation to the Madison Recreations Center. There is an ongoing campaign to restore the old Madison County Training School site and transform it into a community education and cultural facility. The site was also the location of Suwannee River Junior College, which later merged with North Florida Junior College in 1966. [Rick Patrick/Greene Publishing, Inc.]
