Nationally acclaimed pianist and Madison County native, John Beggs will be in performance on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts, in Valdosta, Ga. Beggs will be performing a wide variety of music from classical to ragtime and jazz standards. Beggs will also be performing pieces he performed in the World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing competition, where he placed second.
Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. The Annette Howell Center for the Arts is located at 527 N. Patterson St., in Valdosta.
