Wilkerson began her journey in photography when her children were young. “When my kids were little, I always liked photos and photography,” she began. “I always loved photographing my kids.” Although Wilkerson enjoys capturing the smiles of both of her children, Allie is her right hand and modeling muse. “We've been doing it [photoshoots] since she was a little girl,” states Maggie.
Alongside her photography hobby, Maggie works at North Florida College (NFC) as the Coordinator of Website and Graphic Design. Her husband, Philip, works as the Director of Advising, Recruitment and Retention at NFC. Their son, Emory, is currently finishing his physics and math courses at NFC. Allie is a senior at James Madison Preparatory High School (JMPHS) and is part of the Dual Enrollment (DE) program with NFC. Both Allie and Emory plan to attend school at either the University of Florida (UF) or Florida State University (FSU). Emory has plans to major in engineering, while Allie plans to audition to major in dance, but she also has an interest in criminology and psychology. Wilkerson is married to Philip Wilkerson and together they have two children, Emory and Allie.
